Rest in peace to the only station in Boston that really rocks. Or... rocked. Back in the 80's and 90's Boston was one of the most congested FM radio landscapes in the entire country. Worcester's 'AAF was the only station specializing in hard rock and metal and the first place central MA kids like me ever heard bands like Black Sabbath, Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Rage Against the Machine. They ceased operations in 2020 and the legendary 107.3 is now a contemporary christian music station. Ugh.
